Registering to Bid:
Only registered bidders may participate in our online auctions. To register, select the 'Register' link displayed on any of the auction detail pages or select the 'Register to Bid' button on the side navigation panel. After you complete the registration form and submit it you will receive a verification email. This verification email will contain your bidder's number only. Your password will not be emailed to you - you need to remember what you entered as your desired password during registration. You may now use your bidder number (and password) to bid.

Before You Bid:
After you have registered you can bid. Select the auction of interest from the home page. Each auction has different Terms & Conditions - you must read them before you bid. When you bid, you are agreeing to the all the terms & conditions for that particular auction. You can now browse the items for auction by selecting a catagory or selecting 'ALL ITEMS.' To enter a bid you must have your bidder number and password available.
Placing A Bid:
After you have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms & Conditions of the auction of interest, you can place a bid. There are two places to enter your bid: (1) 'Your Bid' and (2) 'Your Maximum.'
There are two methods of bidding available. Those are:
- Use the 'Your Bid'. If you enter a bid amount in the 'Your Bid' box, the current bid amount of the item you are bidding on will increase to the amount of the 'Your Bid' you entered.
Example: You have found an item you wish to bid on and the current price is $500. You would like to place a bid of $1000 on this item. You enter $1000 in the 'Your Bid' area, enter your bidders number and password at the bottom of the page, then push the 'Submit Bids' button. This will take you to the Terms & Condition page, listing all the important terms. You must check all the check boxes indicating your acceptance than click the 'Continue' button. You will then have a chance to review your bid to make sure everything is correct, and then either push 'Submit Bids' or 'Cancel Bids'. After submitting your bid the next page will indicated if your bid was accpeted of not. If your bid was accepted the current price will increase from $500 to $1000 - assuming no other bidder has placed a higher Maximum bid and your bidder number will be indicated in the 'High Bidder' column. At this point you are the high bidder and done. If someone outbids you, you will receive an email letting you know you have been outbid. You may bid again, and again and again using this method, if you desire. Be aware the amount you enter in the 'Your Bid' box will be exactly the current bid amount.
- Use the 'Your Maximum'. If you enter a bid amount in the 'Your Maximum' box the current bid amount of the item you are bidding on will increase to the next minimum required bid amount indicated in the 'Next Bid Required' column and the system will AutoBid on your behalf, if/when you are outbid by another bidder(s). The computer will only Autobid up to the 'Your Maximum' amount you entered.
Example: You have found an item you wish to bid on. Its current price is $500. You would like to place a maximum bid of $1000 on this item. You should enter $1000 in the 'Your Maximum' box, enter your bidder number and your password at the bottom of the page, then push the 'Submit Bids' button. If your bid was accepted the current price will increase from $500 to $535 (Which was indicated in the 'Next Required Bid' column. At this point you are the high bidder. If, later, someone bids against you, AutoBid will automatically bid for you and bid the minumum amount needed to keep you the leader up to your specified $1000 maximum. If someone outbids 'Your Maximum' amount you will receive an email letting you know you have been outbid. You may bid again, if you desire, following the above procedures.
AutoBid keeps your maximum amount confidential and does not bid any higher than your maximum. You can pay significantly less than your maximum price because AutoBid only bids enough to keep you the leader/high bidder. Enter your maximum price and AutoBid automatically bids on your behalf--and in your absence. This means you don't have to keep coming back to re-bid every time another bid is placed. It is much more convenient, less time-consuming, and it greatly improves your chances of winning!
Increasing your Maximum Bid: If you are the current high bidder and need to increase your max bid - Simply rebid with a new Maximum bid amount, making sure to leave the 'Your Bid' box empty. This will not increse your current bid, rather simply raise your Maximum bid amount. NOTE: A warning box will pop up indicating you are the current high bidder. This is OK - simply click OK.
'Review Bids' Button is used for bidders that have previously entered bids. To uses this feature enter your bidders number and password then click the 'Review Bids' button. The program will then display all your AutoBids and/or regular bids thus far submitted under your bidders number.
Examples and Messages:

What is AutoExtend?
Our auctions use the AutoExtend feature. The basic rule is there must be a minimum of 10 minutes for a bidder to react to a bid. If there is a bid placed in the final 10 minutes for an item, the ending time for that item is automatically extended for to allow the 10 minutes to react. If another bid is received during that 'extended time,' the ending time is extended again--and again, if necessary, for 10 additional minutes for each extension. This continues and repeats until there are no more bids submitted during the 10 minute extended period. This 'AutoExtend' feature allows the bidding process to be more fair for every bidder and gives all bidders a chance to respond to any last-minute snipe bid(s). Items are Autoextended ONLY if a bid is placed within 10 minutes of the scheduled closing time. EXAMPLE: If you are bidding on an item scheduled to end at 10am and you place a bid at 9:59am - the auction will Autoextend to 10:09am - if another bid is placed at 10:04am the auction will again be Autoextended to 10:14am. This will continue until no bids are placed during the 10 minute Autoextend period.
Auction Ending Times:
Our online auctions with multiple items use a Staggered ending time. Each item has its own ending time. If the auction is scheduled to end at 10:00am the first item is scheduled to end at 10am and each item after the first will end in a set staggered interval. An example is a 5 minute stagger, each item will end 5 minutes after the item before it. But, don't forget if an item is bid on in the last 10 minutes the AutoExtend will begin for that item. The following items will stay on the original scheduled staggered ending time (unless they too are Autoextended).
